T'was the week before Christmas

and our lives were crazy....not a second to sit and be lazy.

We started with a performance from Havannah dear,

she left us all grinning from ear to ear. The annual couples Christmas party came after

all the ugly sweaters had us rolling in laughter!

The winners took home a wonderful loot.....

We're hoping they give those sweaters a BOOT!!

The week was starting to come to an end.......
another fun performance with a great friend.

(Havannah and Reagan....cute.)

Christmas sunday brought fun twirly dresses

and candy canes that make all sorts of messes!

We had to make a trip to Christmas village Too....

It was SO cold our noses were turning BLUE!
We can't believe Christmas is so near,
here's hoping a happy Christmas and a merry new year!
(PS...totally know that I shouldn't quit my day job and try to be a poet! :) )

Rolling, rolling,rolling.....

Havannah and her "Scripture Specs". Totally fun.
Sophie suddenly turned into a little kid. She loved Shopping in Vegas (had to carry her own bags and all!) and just seems grown up. Crazy.

Gingerbread boy.....no, the cookie, not Jess. Although, they both look pretty enticing to me!
The Tub: Hallelujah for the tub. It's like their mini pool. We break out the floaties, and tubes and they have a blast.

We went for our annual "cutting down the tree" day. It was a hit. Slightly crooked, but thanks to Jer C. We got it to work!
12 feet of Christmas joy! Oh Tanenbaum.

Sephora must have really gotten to her, cuz she got into the glitter. You should see my bathroom floor....and her sister. Days later- glitter is still in the hair. wow. wow.

My OMOM (old man o' mine)....ok not very clever I found out....but he had a birthday! This man is seriously crazy. I took like 5 pics of him and each one has his classic expression....one day I will do an ODE to my dad. For now, here is my dad reading a card. He looks this way EXACTLY when reading any card or menu. EXACTLY. (are you laughing dad?...you know it's true. :) ) Hang in there for his GQ scarf...don't want to miss it. :) And Joe is in the picture cuz well.....sorry kid, but you are turning out just like our old man. :)

We set up our train! Each year it hasn't worked out, but this is the year. It is magical. We spend lots of our time just laying on the floor watching it go round and round.

And I DEFINATLY can NOT forget NEW MOON night!! SO great. I got to go with some AMAZING women that I love. They even went out and bought me a little Edward Figurine. Havannah calls him "my man"....teaching her young. It was so fun.

Allison, Ann, me and Kris.

Keep the good times Rolling.
I'm loving every minute of it.

Life lately

We spent our Thanksgiving down in wonderful Vegas with Jess's fam. It was SOOOO much fun.
The Weather was great:
The food was delish: (yes, my husband is totally manly) :) And the Company was top notch!!! : (Havannah and Sophia with their cousins Elijah and Aziz)

Jamie was our host.....love that girl.

And Grandma P came up to be with us too! It was so fun to be together.

And OF COURSE, what's thanksgiving without Black Friday. Jamie and I went out and had a ball! We totally filled the Benz's trunk! GREAT TIMES!!

Aziz is a little Basketball player so we went to his practice, played at a pard (SO NICE!) and then played some ball ourselves!

ALways gotta rock out too.

We made cookies and let the kids go to town decorating them.

Here is Jeanene Dumping off the sprinkles! The more sprinkles the better right!?!? I love Aziz's face...he's like- What are you doing Grandma?!?! I love my sprinkles! :)

Oh yeah....just a little reminder why my pants are SO DARN TIGHT!!! (I was thinking it was moving around the corner....totally some kind of elevation problem or something.....yeah, prob not I guess.)

We had to go to our favorite place.....yes all of ours. FAO baby. I LOVE ceaser's palace. Although- FYI- FAO sold their big piano!!! We were so sad! Someone actually bought it!

Seriously...I love vegas. LoVe.

This was so funny. We took Havannah into Sephora (major make-up/girlie store). SHE LOVED IT! I think she had on 6 or 7 diff kinds of perfumes on when we left and ALL kinds of make up. Lips, eyes, cheeks, face, gliter, pink, gliter, red = HEAVEN for that girl. I will never forget her expression while carefully going around and touching and trying everything in the store. and of course, her princess pose outside:

Jamie with the girls and Aziz. They love her and the boys. So do we! What a fun time! We are lucky to have them!

The View from the Pew....

If you would have been at church today (SPECIFICALLY the one where we attend) you would have seen an adorable little 2 year old with a pony tail, red bow atop, in the FRONT ROW pulling her dress up to show the entire primary (who were on the stand for the annual program...that's a WHOLE diff story- TRUST me!) HER belly button. As Her mother, the blonde lady with the whimsical headband- in plum- is trying to get her to QUIT pulling her dress up WHILE trying to get her Sunbeam (who is ALSO on the FRONT row ON THE STAND) to QUIT kissing the adorable boy next to her (although I couldn't blame her- he is a looker!) Starts hearing Snickering from the people behind her. SELF CONCIOUSLY- the mother makes sure she is not loosing any article's of clothing herself (yes, this has happened) and hence would be, the Recieve-E of the snickering starts to look at her flashing 2 year old. When SUDDENLY she notices, NOT the belly button that is being so elequently flashed, but the little TUSH of the child and LO AND BEHOLD, THIS is what is what the View from any PEW behind the family was:

NOTE TO SELF:
- the leggings no longer fit= discard them.
- sitting in the front row equals disaster

When The blonde lady got home and showed the pony tailed litte girl what the fuss was about KEEPING HER DRESS DOWN! The 2 year old laughed, stuck her finger in her dairy air and wanted to take a picture.

Just remember baby girl. TWO WORDS:
BLACK MAIL.

we'll talk about this again when you're boyfriends around. :)

If you want more info about how you can get a view from one of our pew's visit:

On FINALLY having a PINK halloween!

Look at all this PINK!!! What a fun Halloween! We've finally moved from Firemen and Astronauts (which were totally fun) to more GIRLY things!! Serious, this is the best Holiday. My girls were in HEAVEN!! This is how they were pretty much the WHOLE night: HAPPY!! Minnie was ECSTATIC!!! Sleeping Beauty was all A GLOW!!!! (make-up, sparkles and all! SO FUN!)YUM.....I Spy a REECE'S with MOM's Name all over it!

I thought this pic was Spooktacular! If you look by sophia, the mama kitty (who is a perfect black Halloween cat) Happened to stretch into that spooky halloween kitty stance as I snapped the pic!
The whole night was amazing. Our neighborhood is the best. EVERY house, my girls got invited in and oh'ed and awe'd at and got their picture taken and given "special" treats. The bishop and his wife weren't going to be home to see my girls, so they actually stopped by OUR house to see the girls and give them treats- who does that??...an amazing bishop and his wife is who. It meant a lot. The neighborhood was full of friendly faces and wonderful people.
It was a great night we'll remember always.
We are blessed to be where we are.
It is home. Home forever for us.
And we love it.
Hope your Halloween was full of CHOCOLATE and SUGAR and Lots of DOOR bell ringing....
what a sight.

If anyone is looking for a new best friend.....
This little black one is adorable..........
